ABOUT
Sophie is a Melbourne based Set and Costume Designer, Event and Space Designer, Stylist and Artist. Sophie graduated with a Bachelor of Production (Design) from VCA in 2010 winning the Beleura John Tallis Design Award in her final year.
Sophie recently designed set and costumes for Topdog/Underdog (Melbourne Theatre Company), The Grinning Man (Salty Theatre), Monument (Red Stitch Theatre) and The Plan (and other plans) (HotHouse Theatre).
Recent Costume Designs include Come Rain or Come Shine (Melbourne Theatre Company), Death of a Salesman (GWB and Andrew Henry Presents).
Sophie also designed the waiting room space for Patricia Piccinini's exhibition 'A Miracle Constantly Repeated' (RISING), and the event space for a Melbourne Theatre Company event at The Commons Collective. And has styled promotional material for WorkSafe and LendLease among others.
Sophie was Costume Design Associate on Girls and Boys, An Ideal Husband and Twelfth Night (MTC), and Design Associate on A Christmas Carol and Groundhog Day (GWB).
